Greg and Annette have recently purchased Redrock Retreat. Their aim is to make your stay private, comfortable and relaxing as you work in or explore the South Burnett. They love this region – its serenity and surrounding bushland. The fact that it’s close to major centers and facilities, whilst being distant enough to provide a real retreat from the cares of the outside world. Redrock Retreat is certainly a place to enjoy the best of the region, its views and breezes.
Redrock Retreat’s stunning architect designed studio cabins were built by Neil and Jan Archer, who ran the award winning Redrock on Booie, which helped pioneer tourism in the South Burnett region.
Greg and Annette are continuing to work on the property, enhancing its natural landscaping and gardens with a view to attract more of the local wildlife. Their focus is on improved self-sufficiency and building environmental sustainability, using permaculture techniques and planting native trees and grasses. To this end they have chickens and have established a fruit and vegetable patch, as well as a small orchard. You’re welcome to explore the property on its walks, during your stay.

We encourage our guests to raise awareness of environmental concerns through their personal efforts in water conservation, conserving electricity and collecting rubbish into bins provided.
At Redrock Retreat we take care to provide a safe stay to all guests. Whilst the severity of COVID19 has diminished, we are maintaining many of protocols put in place during COVID to provide peace of mind to our guests. Hand sanitizer is provided in each cabin and deep cleans are provided to each cabin after each stay.
