• Redrock Retreat is a non-smoking property. Due to the risk of bush fires we do not allow smoking within the cabins or anywhere on the property.

When making your booking you can choose to include a continental breakfast in your rate or book the Room Only option. If choosing the Room Only option you will need to bring your own breakfast supplies. Our continental breakfast includes fresh farm eggs from the “Redrock Girls”, muesli, bread, condiments and fruit cups. A selection of teas, coffee, ground coffee, hot chocolate and milk provisions await your arrival.

Redrock Retreat now stock a range of wines from the South Burnett’s local wineries. Should you like to enjoy a last minute indulgence, you can order a bottle from the list provided in your cabin.

Please note Redrock Retreat is not within walking distance of any shops, cafes or restaurants. As such, you should plan to bring your food and beverages with you. Kingaroy has Woolworths, Aldi and IGA grocery stores for your convenience. Alternatively, there is also a good range of local pub meals and restaurants in Kingaroy and the Kingaroy RSL is also very good.

Minimum stays

Redrock Retreat has minimum 2 night stay and a minimum of 3 nights for Easter and Christmas.

Check in time is from 3pm. We have a dedicated Reception area, which is in a demountable building adjacent to the main house as you come up the drive. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8pm.

If no one is visible when you arrive, then you will find a buzzer at the office.
Contactless check-in is also available, thanks to a keysafe at each cabin. If this is preferred, please let us know at the time of booking and we will provide appropriate information regarding this.

Check out time is 10am. We look forward to welcoming you to Redrock Retreat.

We are 8 kilometres north of the centre of Kingaroy, or around 10 minutes by car. This puts us generally in the centre of the South Burnett region, being 50 minutes to the Bunya Mountains and 45 minutes to the Moffatdale vineyards. You will require a vehicle to reach Redrock Retreat as we are not on any public transport routes. We are:

• 2 ½ hours from Brisbane
• 2 hours from Sunshine Coast
• 1 ½ hours from Toowoomba
• On the South Burnett Wine Trail
• Close to art galleries, antique shops and a host of other things to see and do.
• 8 kms from Kingaroy with restaurants, shops, cinemas, taxi service and RSL courtesy bus.

Our cabins are studio designed, exclusively for couples. Whilst we personally love pets, we are not set up to accommodate them.

Redrock Retreat is on a 45 acre private property on the Booie Range. Guests are welcome to walk amongst the hardwood plantation and paddocks throughout the property. Normal bush rules apply, in that gates must be left as they are found. There is also easy access to external walking tracks.

Both Boondooma Dam and Bjelke – Petersen Dam are well stocked with Bass, Golden Perch (Yellowbelly), and other native species. Both of these dams are about a 45 minute drive north of Redrock Retreat.

If cancelled 7 or less days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfeited. If cancelled 8 or more days before arrival, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. Alternatively, we are happy to hold your deposit for your next visit.
